If you’re experiencing issues with Flocus, try these troubleshooting steps first:

1. Make Sure You’re on a Supported Device & Browser

Make sure you’re using Flocus on a desktop, laptop, or tablet running Windows or macOS. For browsers, Flocus runs best on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

While Flocus may work on smaller or mobile devices, it’s not optimized for them or Notion widget embeds. See more about our supported browsers and devices.

2. Update Your Browser

Make sure your browser is up to date. Flocus works best on the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari.

3. Hard Refresh

Try a hard refresh to reload the page completely and clear any caching:

  • Windows: Press Ctrl + Shift + R.

  • Mac (Chrome, Firefox, Edge): Press Cmd + Shift + R.

  • Mac (Safari): Press Option + Cmd + E.

4. Log Out and Back into Flocus

Logging out and back into your Flocus account can resolve minor issues, especially Flocus Plus features not being accessible. Head to the Flocus app, then Settings → Profile to log out and back in.

5. Restart Your Browser

Close and reopen your browser to free up resources and apply any updates.

6. Disable Browser Extensions

Some browser extensions, such as ad blockers, dark mode skins, or grammar tools, might interfere with Flocus’ interface or functionality. Try disabling them to see if it resolves the issue.

7. Try a Different Browser

If the problem persists, switch to another supported browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox) to see if it’s browser-specific.
