Flocus lets you customize your ambient soundscape to create the perfect environment for focus, relaxation, or deep work.

You can layer multiple sounds, adjust their volume, and combine them with music for a fully personalized experience. Here’s how:

  1. Click the soundwave icon at the bottom left of the dashboard to open the sounds panel.

2. Browse through the list or use the dropdown menu at the top right to filter sounds by category.

3. Click or tap on a sound icon to start playing it. You can play a single sound or layer up to 5 at a time.

4. Use the sliders to fine-tune the volume of each sound for the perfect focus environment.

Tips for the Best Soundscapes Experience

  • For deep focus, try sounds like white noise, brown noise, pink noise, or binaural beats (alpha, beta, gamma, theta, delta waves). These can be layered on their own or combined with other sounds or music.

  • For relaxation, blend calming sounds like ocean waves, campfire, or rain to create a soothing background.

  • For immersive environments, try café sounds, commuter train, or city ambiance. You can even pair these with the right theme!

  • Flocus Plus members can unlock all ambient sounds and layering options for a fully customized focus environment.
